Colossians 1:19-20 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
It pleased God to have all His fullness dwell in Jesus. It also pleases God when He is able to give of Himself to His children. Now, we each just have a deposit but Jesus had the fullness of God within Him. How amazing is that thought!
Through Jesus, all of creation has been reconciled to God. His blood covers everything making it acceptable to God. All our sin is paid for. All the brokenness in this world is paid for. Every act of evil has been covered. Everything that is wrong in your life has been paid for.
It was never meant to be this way. One day it will be as it was meant to be. In the same way, we were not meant to sin and one day we won’t sin any more. Let the peace of God rest on you knowing that the blood of Christ reconciles what is wrong and has made it right.
