Genesis 1:31 – All that God Creates is Good

Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.

God stood back and looked over all that He created. He took it all in. And it was very good. 1 Timothy 4:4 “For everything God created is good.” God only creates good because God is only good. There is no evil in Him. From the beginning, His creation was meant to be good too. Too often I don’t take the time to notice His goodness around me. I get caught up in the busyness of life and miss Him in the process.

Take a look around you today. Is there anything good in your life? Is there anything beautiful? Is there anything that makes you smile? If there is, you can be assured that it is from God. If you couldn’t think of anything or see the beauty around you, then I challenge you to look harder. It is there. We might just walk by it because of the circumstances we are facing, but it is there. His beauty and fingerprints are all around us. James 1:17  “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
